Shaping the Future of NSTAR

At NSTAR Global Services, our team is unique, global and diverse. We recognize that our employees are our greatest asset. As we strategize for the future, rewarding those who help the business grow is our priority.
In particular, we would like to highlight a specific NSTAR employee who helped the team above and beyond, and how this has shaped our current processes for success.
Meet Rick Summers. Based in Tempe, Arizona, he has been a long-term NSTAR employee for 8 years and has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He always makes an effort to look for opportunities for NSTAR’s growth, in addition to his field project manager duties.
Earlier this year, Rick presented the management team with a business development opportunity. This large-scale project turned out to be a significant lead, and NSTAR won the bid. The tool relocation project was completed last April, requiring a full 30-member team of engineers and technicians to finish the job safely and successfully. With this project, our direct team gained great experience. Additionally, we have strengthened our relationship with the client and proven our excellent reputation. To thank Rick for the lead, we presented him with a significant bonus!
This example is just one way that the NSTAR team lives out our core values. We know that each and every employee serves as an ambassador for the company. By incentivizing our employees to think about opportunities, and communicating them across the company – even when not part of one’s daily job – we are able to stay ahead of the competition, and truly reward the employees who make a difference here.
