GlobalFoundries Supplier Starts Construction on New Saratoga County Plant

Construction has started on a peroxide purification plant in Saratoga Springs, New York to meet demand created by the nearby GlobalFoundries computer chip manufacturing complex. PeroxyChem, a chemical manufacturer based in Philadelphia, said construction is underway on a new 7,140-square-foot, $30 million facility at the Grande Industrial Park. The factory is designed to support GlobalFoundries’ chip plant in Malta.
