North Junior High Science Olympiad Invitational

NSTAR sponsored and volunteered at the first North Junior High Science Olympiad Invitational held in February. In attendance were 150 students ranging from 6th to 12th grade representing five different schools around Treasure Valley. The competitors participated in 23 different events which involved building a mousetrap car, determining a disease outbreak, and building an indoor bottle rocket, among others. We are proud to have been part of an event allowing children to engage in meaningful STEM experiences.
