Over the holidays, NSTAR participated in an “Adopt a Senior” program in partnership with the Community and Senior Services of Johnston County for the fourth year in a row. The program’s mission is “to provide services that empower older adults to remain active and connected, enabling them to lead quality lives of independence.” Their gift requests are simple in nature and are delivered in person to each “adoptee.” While the seniors are very grateful for the gifts, they are even more appreciative of the fellowship and company NSTAR employees provide.
